A moment of truth from me would be that i've never experienced this feeling of melding together during the act - which is sad I know. A cross to bear and who knows the reason. You have however a fine piece of poetry to illustrate a wonderful state of being. The idea of submissiveness or domination has never quite suited me, nor any partner. Ah well there you go.

A roller coaster of nostalgic delights interwoven in a clever way John. Keep on remembering, it rounds out the souls of us older fellows.

I sense a great frustration and a seeking Peter. A search for clear truths, never easy to find the true core of any emotion, changing like the sea.

I tried to keep the haunting feeling that was so fresh last night when young and old enjoyed dressing up, each to play out a role of the scary dead.

Martin, the French have an expression which translates as - I feel ok in my skin.
Mmm now why am I suddenly remembering the guy who used to bring his horse and cart down our road shouting out, 'Any ol' rag bownne! Any ol' rag bownne!
Go well

My mind is humming these days, Thank God!
I can't imagine anyone considering this piece as salacious, or whatever. If there should be any 'backlash', just say so and I will remove it.
For the really sharp of mind, I so wanted to end it with 'From the First Big Bang', but then I considered some of my valued supporters and decided not! I could just HEAR the shrieks of mirth in my head.

the law has loopholes which criminals take advantage of, criminals know law better than the law makers, so they use it to suit their needs and misuse it to fulfill their desires....factual situation of the law of land!!

John - the words which Graham refers to, which you posted on his profile (16 Oct), I recognise as my words to him on his return to WOL after a break.
No need to apologise John...I actually feel quite flattered that you went back eight months to find the quote.

To even taste the dust
My neurons quickly grab them

I suppose we all have different ways by which we wish to be remembered. I think of the ancestral totem poles of the Red Indian as I say that - and the stone cut figures of the Easter Islanders from the past - to name but a few. Of course many poets have tried it as well including Sacha Moorsham, whom I cite: 'I hold dead friends like jewels in my hand.....' Have meditated that often enough as a lament at funerals for deceased friends. ?

There's a lot of skill in the words John for authenticity. You capture the flavour of New Orleans and the blues and there's a rawness in the music and the celebration of it that is spontaneous - the polar opposite of today's offerings in most cases. Go back to impoverishment for the genuine music of the heart. My favourite go to video is the Buona Vista club. Impeccable playing and sheer artistry. Is it still ok to use the word "negroes" by the way?
I'll get my coat.

Good advice! Most problems we go through with our emotional states are as a result of not breathing properly. The is the absolute science of it all. Breathe clearly and you feed your brain with extra oxygen, and you know what that means....more great ideas.
