The beauty of the poem is not in what it says but what it leaves unsaid.
How little is the little nut? - an amoeba is a little thing, but Luxembourg is a little country.
Is the nut a Whitworth, AF, metric? The poet rightly leaves us to make up our own minds.
Likewise, is the nut in or ex situ? - the essence of the nature of the wheelbarrow; for if it is ex situ the wheel will not function and the barrow (and its load) will have to be carried. Clearly it will no longer be a WHEELbarrow - a metaphor for life itself.
Next it begs the question 'What colour is the nut?'
And finally, WHERE'S THE FUCKING CHICKENS!!

According to the Bloodaxe website, Mary Whitehouse described it as a work of "singular nastiness", which, despite her reputation being revised a tad in recent years, says much more about her than Tony Harrison, I'm afraid. Times have changed. I doubt there'll be the same fuss about the four-letter words this time around, given the reporting of the industrial language and worse used by the nation's top footballers. I suspect the fuss then was partly and party political. It was written around the time of the miners' strike. Hopefully it can now be considered purely for its artistic merit. http://www.bloodaxebooks.com/titlepage.asp?isbn=0906427975

A poignant piece that sums up the pathos and the waste of the predicament. The final three lines are perfect
closure.

My sister's dog is a poodle...
A big black kit n' kaboodle,
Who gets himself into a muddle
About where to leave his puddle;
And is certainly quite a sight
With his arse up a tree full of shite!
While I'm here - loved your Bill Shakespeare post and commented thereon.

"O peerleff rhyming northern sage,
Thy linef are writ for any age.
Takeft this if thou will as platitude,
But the Bard in me grins in gratitude"!
Not only wonderfully funny but inspired, not to say
well informed (so I won't).

I'd disagree there. It's easy to get rid of them, particularly if you have someone willing to go through your head with a nit comb for a couple of days. There is absolutely no need to go buying these expensive chemical lotions either.
The difficulty comes in staying without them if you are mixing with people who have them. Hence you have to be vigilant at all times if you are mixing with kids :)

Its very hard to get rid of head lices. I tried many things on my head including egg and oils. but, after sometime they grow up and. Finally, I bought a book named as "http://headlicenomore.com/" and it works for me.
According to me if you want to get rid of head lices you have to get bald or use few methods from this book. :)
