Disillusion

Life is full of illusion,
a process of disillusion.

No perfection in decay.

To die,
to be reborn,
to be all that I am
is eternity.

Oblivion only comes
to those that seek it.

No, never new, they never grew,

they stayed and they remained:

Our Marble Womb

White marble windowless womb

Seals inspiration inward, like a skull

Fenced by a colonnade and oaken doors,

A maze of steps and echoes.

White marble magic walls keep back the night,

Exclude the loud cheap town - its angry sirens,

Stumbling traffic, its cut-price ugly crowds

With inbred voices raised - our culture cuts away

These vicious tumours.

Nocturne Dance

From one night-time office window,
I zoom my gazing out, out, out,
Searching for other nocturnes,
Dancing the vacuum dance,
Tilting windmills at motion sensors,
That only seem to recognise phantoms,
On Wander Patrol through these elevated moon/june cathedrals,
Built from semi-recyclable materials,
Built to make office-time last and last,
And last..

You cannot get hay fever from a plast...

If I went away, would you miss me?

If we drank lots of red wine, would you kiss me?

There's an angel among us,
He walks with his demons,
Drowning in sorrow and fear

And who would have thought
Such a kind-hearted soul
Would be trapped with the rest of us here?

So we planned his return
To the land whence he came,
So he could be free of his pain

I can’t hear a word you say
Please sit back, don’t sit forward
I can’t hear a word you say.

•I cry knowing I don't have one

-You consider other people luckier bc you believe their flower is beyond better than yours
